Dr Shane Gordon graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1987 with a B.Ch.D winning the Julius Staz Medal for Oral Pathology and The South African Prosthodontic Society Gold Medal for Crown and Bridgework.
He spent two years in the South African Defence Force as a Dental Officer. On leaving the Defence Force he joined a Private Restorative Dental Practice in Cape Town, South Africa and remained with the Practice till 1991. He moved to the UK in April 1991 and runs his own private practice, The St Peters Dental Practice, in Broadstairs, Kent where he practices aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry.
Dr Gordon is a Founder member and Past President of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He now serves on the Past President's Advisory Board. He has been an affiliate member of the prestigious European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) since 2006. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (European Division). He was a marking Tutor for University College London - Distance Learning MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry - 2010 to 2013.
Edit graduated from the University of Debrecen in Hungary in 2004, where she enjoyed academic success having one of the highest Grade Point Averages in her year. She then went on to do three years of postgraduate training at Semmelweis University in Budapest which she completed in January 2008, advancing her skills in Restorative and Prosthodontic Dentistry. She gained experience working in Sopron, Hungary, where because of the town's proximity to Vienna she mainly treated Austrian and German patients.
Since moving to England in 2008 she has attended postgraduate courses in restorative and esthetic dentistry and endodontics. Edit has been working in Thanet and Canterbury since 2008 in mixed and private practices and joined the St Peter's Dental Practice in March 2023.
She completed four years training in London to become a homeopath. She has a very holistic mindset.
Her main dental interests are general and restorative dentistry, especially root canal therapy, and aims at delivering the highest standards in treatment. She is very good with nervous patients. Edit is able to speak fluent English, Hungarian and German.
She has also lived in the USA where her father was a lecturer at Kent State University in Ohio.
Edit spends most of her free time with her husband and two daughters and enjoys reading, roller skating and crocheting and loves living by the sea.
Dr Padiachey qualified from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa in 1987 and joined The St. Peters Dental Practice in Broadstairs in February 2000.
He has been a devoted team member since joining the Practice and has a special interest in Orthodontics with an emphasis on non-extraction treatment and facial development.
He is a caring and very gentle practitioner.
Adri qualified with a DOH as an expanded therapy dental hygienist at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and moved to Broadstairs in 1992.
She took the National Examination in Dental Hygiene after spending time at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1994 and achieved the CEB Diploma Dental Hygiene Qualification in the same year.
After working for 3 years at the Mill Lane Dental Practice she joined The St. Peters Dental Practice in 1997 and has been a devoted and loyal team member to date.
She truly puts her patients and their interests first and goes out of her way to serve her patients and the Practice.
Caroline joined the Practice as a Trainee Dental nurse under the Apprenticeship scheme. She has added youthful energy and enthusiasm to the Practice as well as practical input learned in her previous role as a carer.
She has qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse and is an invaluable member of the team with great all-round skills having earned the place of Head Implant Surgery nurse and is responsible for Nurse induction and training. She is personable, friendly, empathetic and very efficient.
Debbie is the most experienced and longest serving member of the nursing staff having been a Dental Nurse for 44 years. She is a trusted member of our team and is proficient in all aspects of Dental nursing including Implant Surgery and Oral Surgery.
She is empathetic and gentle and liked by all.
Tara has joined us from a background in Care Industry. She is polite, caring and calm and has been a good addition to our team.
She is already efficient and understands the concept of patient care.

Lisa was a Registered Dental Nurse for 30 years before taking over reception at her previous Practice. She is highly motivated to provided the best patient experience possible and brings with her a wealth of dental knowledge.
She is very approachable and friendly and most empathetic to patients needs. She is a great addition to our team.
